He is survived by: his mother Kim Gentry (Tony); his stepmother Hayley Ferko; his grandmothers, Joan Ferko and Lavenia Waller; his siblings, Rena Stitt (Brandan) and Robert Ferko; and his stepsiblings, Amber and Cory Gentry. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home (301 S Main St, Gordonsville, VA 22942). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Narcotics Anonymous, honoring Matthew's dedication to his sobriety and support for others on similar paths.
