She is survived by: her son Takeen Akbar (Teia) of Stanton, Virginia; her granddaughters, Imari and Tyshay Douglas of Charlottesville, Virginia; her stepgrandchildren, Brianna, Jasiyah and Damon of Staunton, Virginia; her siblings, Grace Allen of Charlottesville, Doris Dillard (Herbert) of Madison, Curtis Allen (Helen) of Gordonsville, Lee (Randy) and Allen (Sharon) of Charlottesville, Virginia; her goddaughter Sabria Allen of Charlottesville, Virginia; and her friend William Rankins of Charlottesville, Virginia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
