She is survived by: her children, Robert Roosevelt Jones Jr. of Charlottesville, Virginia, Melvin Jones (Sharon "Roc") of Charlottesville, Virginia, John Richard of Charlottesville, Virginia, Delores Thompson of Louisa, Virginia, Patricia Washington of Charlottesville, Virginia, Faye Jones (John) of Richmond, Virginia, Sheryl Loeser (Eldridge) of Nellysford, Virginia and Mary Ellen Jones-Bland (Norman) of Troy, Virginia; her sister Shirley Brown of Charlottesville, Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Scott of Charlottesville and Josephine Mitchell of Washington, D. C.; her daughter-in-law Virginia Jones; her nephew Bryant; and also, James Gibson, Emmanuel Dunbar, Mae Dunbar and Eddie Bryant. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
