She was predeceased by: her brother Rick Murtaugh; and her parents, Thomas Murtaugh and Josephine Murtaugh (Ring). She is survived by: her husband Dale A. Byrd of Charlottesville; her children, Jason M. Byrd (Tina), Lisa M. Fry (Charlie), Shannon M. Price (Hunter) and Caitlin E. Schafer (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ayden, Maeve, Piper, Mason, Ryker, Anson and Cormac; and her siblings, Thomas Murtaugh (Marguerite), David Murtaugh, Cathie Parrish (Bob) and Betsy Baldwin (Kelly).
