Karen J.P. Binney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2023, at the age of 77, Karen J. P. Binney of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Deutsch Prelle and Walter Prelle; her husband Michael Binney Sr.; and her son Barry Binney. She is survived by: her close friends, Gypsy, Pongo, Amber, Taggie, Rocky Skye, Kelsey, Sage and Sammy; her children, Michele McCauley (Boyd McCauley), Marsha Binney-Wells and Michael Binney Jr.; her close friend Latke; her nieces and nephews, Shelia Prelle, Eva DuBose, Lauren Goodwin, Monica Carlton, William Binney, David Binney, Greg Binney and Matt Binney; and her cousins, Stephanie Watkins and John Deutsch. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to P'nai Yisrael Chavurah, 3160 Waverly Drive, Charlottesville, VA. 22901, or to a local charity of your choice.
