He was predeceased by: his father Robert, Sr. Kopp; his brothers, Robert Jr. and Richard; and his nephew Jim. He is survived by: his children, Pam and Peter Kopp; his wife Joanne (Krawczak); his daughter-in-law Cheri; his nephews, Tom, Bob and Chris; and his niece Heidi.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Charlottesville chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Piedmont would be appreciated.
