It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sayle Watterson III (Charlottesville, Virginia), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John S. Watterson, Jr. and Emily Timberlake Watterson; his wife Yvonne Guy Watterson of Charlottesville; his daughters, Martha and Emily Watterson; his brother Stuart of Charlottesville; his granddaughters, Jane, Charlotte and Sydney; and his brother Wayt Timberlake Watterson (Tim).
