He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Jameson (Miwa), Sean (Kayla) and Madeline (Peach); his granddaughter Sonia; his parents, Robert and Agnes; his siblings, Elizabeth Roberts (Mike), Mary Jean Henry (Pat), Julie Gross (Dan) and Bob Zimmer (Elizabeth); and his pets, Angela and Dr. Stone.

“Kathleen and family, We were so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. He was an outstanding man and accomplished much in his life. Although we hadn't seen him since we moved to Missouri in 1975, we always got updates from his father. We never had a chance to meet you Kathleen, but we did see Madeline and Jameson at Bob's once. We send our deepest sympathy to all of you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. May all the wonderful memories of Jay bring you comfort in the days ahead. Uncle Jack”
