It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janette Breeden Carneal of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Breeden and Elizabeth Breeden Gill; and her husband Oddie Carneal. She is survived by: her children, Oddie Carneal (Teresa), Teresa Woodson (Bernie) and Vicky Shull (Chris); her grandchildren, Daren Hamm (Heather), Stephanie Hamm (Shawn), Cody Woodson, Ashely Woodson and Lee Carneal (Mallory); her great grandchildren, Cooper Hamm, Roxie Janette Hamm and Gavin Hamm; her siblings, Jesse Breeden and Ella Atwater; and her friend Beverly Morris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
