It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bruce Galloway of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Stewart Galloway and Minnie Mae Galloway (Haygood); his daughter Julie; and his grandson James. He is survived by: his significant other Gail Eveleth Bender; his daughters, Debbie, Kitty and Kate; his siblings, Bill and Pat; his sons-in-law, Joe, Jason and Andrew; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Abby, Jordyn, Matthew, Ella and Alex.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to March of Dimes.

I was looking forward to seeing him again (I now live in Charlotte) when I visit this month. Now that will not be possible and we are deeply saddened. Jim was a very special person.
