She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Duffy and Helen Duffy (Juhas); her brother James Duffy; and her children, Patrick and Sharon.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Michael Patrick and James Thomas; and her great grandchild Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Church (401 Alderman Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irene's honor to St. Jude's Foundation.
