She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Dudley and Inez Dudley; and her siblings, Harold Dudley, Curtis Dudley, Dorothy Mc Vea, Ruby Swanson, Carrie (Tater) and Sterling Dudley (Boo).
She is survived by: her sister Tater; her daughter Gina Wells Flynn; her son-in-law John Flynn of Upper Marlboro, MD; her granddaughter Danielle Inez Flynn of Alexandria, VA; and her brother Walter Dudley of Rome, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
After leaving UVA, she became an in-home caregiver for elderly and Alzheimer patients.
