She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Isaac A. Scott Jr. and Mary Frances Monroe Scott; her husband Alden T. Coleman Sr.; and her siblings, Iona Madolia Chambers (Theodore), Monroe D. Scott (Laura), Joseph W. Scott (Marie), Francis W. Scott, Sr. (Rachael) and Isaac A. Scott, III (Doris).
She is survived by: her stepsons, Alden T. Coleman Jr., Anthony Coleman Sr. (Paula) and Aaron Coleman; her stepgrandchildren, Andre (Karen), Anthony Coleman Jr., Paige Coleman, Kevin Hart (April), Marcos Roberson (Stephanie), Matthew Roberson, Camille and Danielle Barnes (Victor); her sisters-in-law, Margaret, Ellen, Hazel and Charesa Coleman; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Phoenix, Cameron, Vivian, Jordan, Casey and Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (7725 Porters Rd, Esmont, VA 22937). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
