He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Jones (Chip) of Henrico and Dianne Vitt (Jim) of Charlottesville; his grandchildren, Lauren Misiaszek, Charles Jones, Mary Fuglie (Luke), Loretta Vitt Dubova (Ryan Plater) and Jordan Vitt (Amy Cesak); his great grandchildren, Arlo Dubova, Pippa Plater, Gabriel Fuglie and Charlotte Fuglie; his siblings-in-law, Mary Burke White and Bob Horton; his nephew Mark White; and his nieces, Carol White, Robin, Stephanie and Michelle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville.
