He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tinsley and Bettie Moore Tinsley; and his siblings, Jane Tinsley Bell Jordan, Mary Tinsley Durette, Thelma N. Tinsley, Nathaniel, Webster, Daniel, Clarence, Alfonso, James, Sidney and Isaiah Tinsley.
He is survived by: his brother George F. Tinsley; his sisters-in-law, Ann Tinsley and Ina Tinsley; his nieces and nephews, Philip Bell (Clarissa), James "Jimmy" Tinsley, Bobby Tinsley (Tracy), Lee Tinsley, Jasper Bell (Janie), Boyd Tinsley, Catherine "Cat" Moody, Betty Sutton and Barbara Tinsley; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Enjoli Bradley and Carmen Moody. He is also survived by many other relatives, family, and friends.
