She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsay Mann Gillum and Elizabeth Wood Gillum Eubank; her husband Vernon Emmett Walton; and her son Kenneth William Walton. She is survived by: her son Lindsay Vernon Walton Sr. (Sandra Powers Walton); her grandchildren, Lindsay Vernon Walton Jr. (Jeanette Dabrowski Walton) and Heather Elaine Walton (Grayson Tyler Smith); and her brother-in-law Donald L. Walton (Peggy Taliaferro Walton). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
