He was predeceased by: his parents, Buckner Ashby and Julia Ashby; and his wife Doris Ashby. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Ashby (Julia Kindred) and Mike (Marilyn Ashby); his grandchildren, Will Ashby (Allison), Virginia Ashby (Walter Molina), Molly Jackson (Jordan) and David Ashby (Kim Gold); and his great grandchildren, Violet Ashby, Elsie and Emma Jackson.
