He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fortescue Rochester and Gwendolen Wolfe Rochester; his wife Lois Boochever Rochester of Albany, NY; his daughter Gwendolen Rochester Leighty; and his siblings, Paul Rochester and Nancy Caird.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Rochester Ramsey (William H. Ramsey) of Cheshire, Connecticut; his son-in-law Bruce H. Leighty; his grandchildren, Carl, Alison Leighty, Anna Ramsey Spetta and Nick Ramsey; his niece Alisone Kopita; his nephew Grafton Rochester; and his siblings, Jill Glover, Jacque Rochester, Edward Rochester and Tom Rochester.
