She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudy Godwin and Helen Godwin of Crozet, VA; her grandson Oaklee Kennedy; and her great-nephew Parker Daniels. She is survived by: her sister Ginger (family: Scott, Taylor, Kennedy, Ben, Briann, Brinleigh, Brayden); her daughter Jennifer; her grandchildren, Shamley, Brantley and Paizley of Culpeper; her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Brandi Kirby of Fluvanna; and her grandchildren, Kayla and Hunter.
