He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Sherman Cox and Sybil Cox (Jones); and his brother George Cox. He is survived by: his wife Iris Cox; his stepchildren, Gemma DeGioia (Cohen) and Henry Cohen; and his siblings, Sybil'Tina'Cox of Boston, MA, Steven Cox (Fall) and Leslie Cox (Baltimore, MD). He is also survived by nephews, aunts and cousins.
