She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Patterson Scott and Herbert Leroy Scott, Sr.; her siblings, Herbert L. Scott, Jr., Lorenzo A. Scott and Elsie M. Mills; and her granddaughter Nydaea "NyNy" Wicks.
She is survived by: her children, Georgetta Scott of Charlottesville, Natasha Scott of Charlottesville, Irvenia Scott of Charlottesville and Christopher Scott of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Theresa Brock, Rebecca Scott of Charlottesville, Barbara Banks of Crozet and King Arthur Scott of Charlottesville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
