He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Cameron Payne and John Marshal Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hicks Ballard; his children, John-Daniel Ballard (Hunter) and Jennifer Leandra Ballard (Justin); his grandchildren, Leandra Pritchett, Faith Pritchett, Coltynn Pritchett and Jesse Pritchett; and his brother David L. (Jodie Marks Ballard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Plain Baptist Church Cemetery.
