Clarence Ashby Shaver Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Ashby Shaver of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Pan and Lena McCauley Shaver; his wife Sue Carol Shaver; and his siblings, Agnes, Lucille Weakley, Francis Lowry, Lottie Hurt, Robert, Arthur, Joe and Charles Shaver.

He is survived by: his sons, Mike Shaver (Robin) and Brian Shaver (Mary Lou); his sister Lorraine Moyer; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Whaley and Yvonne Shaver; his grandchildren, Brittany, Chelsea, Heath (Ashley), Cole and Leeanne; and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Kynston, Tucker, Jasiah, Jori, Easton, Cash and Loundon.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Service (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903).

The family requests that no flowers be sent but that Clarence be honored through a memorial donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
