He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar Haugh and Ruth Elizabeth Roberts Haugh; his sister Martha Alice Haugh (Marty); his nephew Robert Middleton; and his half-siblings, Elizabeth Josephine Haugh Bell and Edgar Sybert Haugh.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Oglesby Haugh; his sons, Lair Dayton Haugh and David Roberts Haugh (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Daniel Henley Haugh (Nicole) and Betsy Roberts Haugh; his great grandchildren, Chloe Lynn Haugh and Carter Roland Haugh; his nephews, Richard Middleton, John Middleton and William Middleton; his cousin Joe Haugh (Terry); and also, Sandy Quinn, John and Roger Bell.
