She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren V. Hopkins and Mabel A. Hopkins. She is survived by: her husband Martin B. Sanchez of Charlottesville; and her children, Debra Carver (Mark Woolfork), Thomas Martin (Gina) of Kent Store, Eli Casarez Jr. (Samantha) of Charlottesville, Cynthia Casarez (Jeff Hogan) and David Casarez (Tracy) of Louisa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Teague Funeral Service (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pastor Jimmy D. Temple.
