It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Muse (Charlottesville, Virginia), born in Cumberland, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cooke and Beulah Meador Cooke; her husband Frank Muse; her son Charlie Muse; and her sisters, Thelma Timberlake and Mabel Cluff.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Muse (Robert Walters) of Charlottesville; her daughter-in-law Judith Simon Muse of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Sarah "Aya" Muse, Noah Muse, Dawn Hudgins, Kimberly Walters and Kurt Walters; and her great grandchildren, Laura Hudgins, Elizabeth Hudgins, Regan Walters and Dara Walters.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church.
