He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Wells and Julia J. Wells; his sister Ruth Monroe White; and his sister-in-law Celestine Walker Wells. He is survived by: his son Travis L. Brown (Frances) of Charlottesville Va; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Herndon, Maurice Wells, Alfreda Carter Victor (Melvin), Amy Czumack (Mike), Christorpher Wells, RoSonya Barbour, Dana Monroe, Julia Wells, Tiffany Coles (Devin), Tyler and Marcus Grant; and his friend Dianah Farrar. He is also survived by Great nieces and nephews and one Great Great nephew.
