He was predeceased by: his parents, Doffie Raines and Viola Raines; his son Wayne Allen Raines; and his siblings, Thomas, Clyde, Charles, William and Dorothy Madison.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Raines; his goddaughter Taylor Gibson; his daughters, Audrey Dimarco and Karen Eppard; his siblings, Nelson, Richard (Barbara), Randolph (Joyce), Warren (Paula), Ronnie (Karen) and Myrtle Garrison; his sisters-in-law, Libby, Shirley and Fay Raines; and also Dale Raines. He is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins, grandkids and great-grandchildren.
