She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Rice Spencer and Gracie Snead Cabell; her siblings, Ruth Spencer, Hazel S. Thompson, Nora B. Randolph, Matthew "Molly" Spencer, Samuel "Zack" Spencer and Carl; and her grandson George Russell Ferrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary C. Ferrell of Keysville; her grandchildren, Ruth Elsie Bailey, Darlene F. Walton (Robert C.) of Phenix and Michael H. Ferrell (Kassandra Dailey) of Meherrin; her sister Gladys Spencer Morton of Richmond; and her brother-in-law Douglas Randolph. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
