With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Gray Taylor Dickerson (Charlotte Court House, Virginia), who passed away on February 7, 2016 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Abb Taylor and Norma Thornton Taylor; her husband Monroe Wilson Dickerson; and her siblings, Abb Taylor, Henry Taylor and Blanche Taylor Peak.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Dickerson Holt Jimmy and Carlton Monroe Dickerson Bernard; her grandsons, Timothy Wayne Holt Rhonda and Christopher Douglas Holt Cynthia; her stepgreat-granddaughter Ashley; her great grandchildren, Gabe, Chance, Casey and Carly; her sisters, Mary Taylor Dickerson and Lucy Machado Mike; and her sister-in-law Anna "Red" Taylor.
