She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lacks and Betty Lacks; and her great grandchild Noah Womack. She is survived by: her husband Jerry C. Griffin; her sons, J. W. Griffin (Tonya) and Jason Griffin (Nicole); her grandchildren, Benjamin Capps (Selena), Jacob Capps (Krystal), Tiffany Capps, Brandon Griffin, Nathaniel Griffin and Jaelee Griffin; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brookelynn, Braxton, Haisley, Damian and Skyler; and her half-sister Josephine Daniel (Luther).
