He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Brown and William Brown; his brothers, Merle and Fred Brown; and his son Kevin Lee Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Brown; his children, Karen Herauf (Tom) of Diamondhead, MS, David W. Brown (Denise) of Woodstock, GA and Alan L. Brown (Tenney) of Lexington, VA; and his grandchildren, Andrea Nelson (Mike), Christi Magyar (Alex), Katie DeFord (Claude), Dan, Eric and Kevin Brown. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
