She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Rosser Garrett; her son Leo Rosser Garrett, Jr.; her brother William Purcell, Jr.; and her nephew Dr. William Purcell III (Billy). She is survived by: her son Lee Vernon Garrett (Sandra Schutz Garrett) of Indianapolis; her daughter-in-law Kathy Clements Garrett of Halifax; her grandchild Leslie McPhail Garrett; her great grandchildren, Lydia, Theo and Colbie Heinekamp; her sister-in-law Lucille Blanks Purcell; her daughter Ruth Purcell Williams (Wayne); and her grandsons, Jeremy and Andrew Williams.
