He is survived by: his children, Maretta Jeffress (Juan) of Drakes Branch, VA, Sandra Love (Kendall) of Cullen, VA, Roger L. Allen (Octavia) of Raleigh, NC, Angela Cook, Earley Victor Cook (Brenda), Christopher Cook of Durham, NC and James Cook (Cora) of Farmville, VA; his siblings, Gracie Stovall of Drakes Branch, VA, Irene Easley of Baltimore, MD and John Cook (Charbeth) of Cleveland, Ohio; his goddaughter Phinon Hurt of Chase City, VA; and his friend Janie Walton of Keysville, VA. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
