Byron M. Shorter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2021, at the age of 82, Byron M. Shorter of Charlotte Court House, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Shorter and Hattie Shorter; his son Jimmy Shorter; and his sister Lois Groves. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Shorter; his children, Timmy Shorter (Kim), Kenny Shorter, Debbie Barksdale (Kevin), Dawn Shorter, Donna Lacks (Steven) and Dana Shorter (Will); his niece Hope Brown (Robert); and his brother Ned Shorter (Joann). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
