She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldora Thompson Wallace and Clifton Kirt Wallace; her brother Clifton Wallace; and her husband Flon Edward Carter, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Flon Edward Carter, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Debra Ann Carter; her grandson Bryce (Allie); and her great grandchild Pierce.
