It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Franklin Rhoades Sr. of Charles City, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle B Rhoades; his parents, Cecil Rhoades and Matylda Rhoades; and his sister JoAnne Magee. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Rhoades Tiemann and Robert F. Rhoades, Jr.; his grandchildren, Chesney R. Allgood (JP), Ariana K. Tiemann (Marcus) and Alan Jamison; his great grandchild Karina Tiemann; and his siblings, Marion Pierce, Shirley Jenkins (Ken) and Janice Doto (Jay). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
