She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurley Wade Sr. and Alleen Wakefield Wade; her brothers, Hurley Wade Jr. and Thomas Washington Wade; her cousin Charlotte Louise Stone; and her siblings-in-law, Henderson Bartlett, Joe Lewis Jones and Arlene Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Katrina Wade Jones (Stanley); her sisters, Lillian Wade of Bladensburg and Fannie Bartlett; her sisters-in-law, Doris Wade and Yvonne Howard; her cousin Vernice Wade; her nieces, Rita Smith (John), Pamela Wade, Doreen Bartlett, Stacey Johnson and Bonita Schley (Carl); her stepsons, Carroll Jones Jr. (Sharon) and Alan Jones Sr. (Dawn); her great-niece Charrise Graves (Ketron); her nephew Rodney Bradby (Crystal); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Channing Wynn (Trae), Sharita Roberts (Shaun), Katrice Wade, Sakiese Wade, Janay Osborne, Brittany Ciara Franklin (Andrew), Yolonda Wade, LaStasha Johnson, Kevin Woodley, Brock Hughes, Stedman Wade (Briel) and Armond Winston; her nieces, Lisa Johnson (Chris) and Lori Crewe (Kerry); and also, Chauncey, Brian (Brenda) and Carnell Wade (Donna). She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (9100 Liberty Church Rd, Charles City, VA 23030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
