He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Adkins; and his siblings, Gloria Johnson, Edna French and Larry. He is survived by: his significant other Tanya Pettigrew; his children, Melanie "Poo" Adkins and Quincy Furman; his siblings, Ricky, William Adkins and Helen Charity; and his grandchildren, Marquice, Quincy Jr., Muhiya, Asia, Qasim and Qimora. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
