He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Carl Schmidt and Margaret M. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bailey Schmidt; his son Justin A. Lee (Chloe Fortin); and his brothers, Rudy Schmidt (Sandy) of Lancaster, SC and Jim Schmidt (Maxine) of Louisa, VA..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
