She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frits Hugo Klingemann and Harriet Elonor Arna Klingemann of Hellerup; her husband Charles Hill Carter II; her children, Charles Hill Carter III (Lauren Murphy Carter), Robert Randolph Carter of Clifton and Harriet Carter Pittman (Kevin Rice Pittman); and her grandchildren, William Carter Pittman, Charles Hill Carter IV and Lela Grace Carter.
