She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney W. Brown, Sr.; her parents, Pompey Sr. and Juanita Cox; and her sisters, Debra, Joan, Joyce and LaVerne.
She is survived by: her daughter LaTonya Knight; her grandchildren, Ashley Williams and Robert Knight, III; her great grandchildren, Khi, Riley, Bryce and Aubrey; and her siblings, Thelma Thomas (Larry), Carolyn Green, Pompey Jr., Roger Sr. (Charlotte), Byron Cox (Ellen) and Carroll Cox.
