He was predeceased by: his parents, Flossie Brown and Roosevelt Sr. Brown; his significant other Priscilla Vernice Brown; his daughter Sheila Brown; his siblings, Harriet, Mamie, Rebecca, Alberta, Diane, Howard, Roosevelt Jr., Robert, George, Llewellyn and Vernon; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Alphonso Sr., Doretha, Joyce, Deborah and Anthony Sr.; and his siblings, Flossie Estelle Jones (Wilbert), Christopher, Richard (Diane) and James Brown (Mary). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
