She is survived by: her children, Anna Adkins (Dudley), Dorothy Armstead (Michael), Maurice Wallace, Brenda Copling (Wesley) and Wilhelmina Wallace-Hopson (Prince); her stepchildren, Etta Jones, Joyce Crawley, Daniel Wallace Sr. (Phyllis) and Clem Miles (Floyd); her siblings, Vermon Allen Hicks, James Brown (Lillian), Thelma Barnes, John Brown, Jr. (Theresa), Herman Brown, Linwood Brown (Carolyn), Loressa Barnes (Anthony) and Numerous; and her friends, Jackie Murphy and Florine.
