He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Jefferson and Clarence Christian; his wife Ruth "Peaches" Miles; his children, Donna, Ernest "Red" Miles (Lois) and Lila Miles; and his brother Joseph Christian.
He is survived by: his son Douglas "Chick" Miles; his sister Bertha "Leebaby" Jefferson; his grandchildren, Jaunee Minter, Dawna Mason, Wendy, Walter and Brooke Miles; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Logan, Andre', Dakota, Taylor, James, Taniyah, Isabella, Talayah and Elayah; and his granddaughter Jessina Fritz. He is also survived by Great-Great grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.
