He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Hairston Sr. and Prezelia C. Hairston; and his brother Royce M. Hairston. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles B. Hairston Jr. (Gwendolyn), Judy H. Crump (Eugene) and Ralph D. Hairston; and his nieces and nephews, Eugene R. Crump, III (Rita), Mark D. Crump (Rhonda), Charles B. Hairston, III (Paula), Tracey Hairston and Chris Hairston-White (Dwayne). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
