She was predeceased by: her parents, Elba Charity and Beatrice C. Charity; her husband Harry Cornelious Miles, Sr.; and her siblings, Elba, Bernard, Ernest, Deuteronomy Charity, Alberta Hamilton and Jean Charity.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Paige (Royce), Anthony Miles (Susan) and Harry Miles Jr.; her grandchildren, Jermaine Miles (Luketia), Felicia Brown (Bert), Kendra Richardson and Tiffany Harper (Kevin); her sister Bernice C. Miles; her sisters-in-law, Jean J. Charity, Abbie Talley and Ruby Bowman; and her close friend Princetta Smith. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
