She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank M. Weaver, Jr. and Annie McCord Weaver; her former husband Edward C. Major; her children, Vera, Meredith, Marie, Thomas and Louise Mauck (Beverly); her grandchildren, Meriwether Almond (Nick) and Louisa White (Will); her daughter Abigail O'Hare (Michael); her grandchildren, Ava, Adrian, Aubrey O'Hare, Gordon Copland and Wallace Copland (Tammy); her children, Christina Kneifer (Wes), Aaron Copland, Margaret Mountcastle (Bill) and Ty Mountcastle (Keri); her grandchildren, Caroline and Henry Mountcastle; and her son Malcolm Mountcastle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grand-children.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Westover Episcopal Church.
