He was predeceased by: his father George F. Copland II; and his nephew William Ruffin Creekmur. He is survived by: his mother Ridgely King Copland; his siblings, George F. Copland III, MaryPat Copland Davis (Curtis) and Carolyn Copland Haupt; his nephews, Christian F. Davis (Shelby) and John C. Davis (Jack); his niece Miranda K. Copland; and his great-niece Nora G. Davis. He is also survived by many cousins and countless friends, including his beloved dog.
