We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2024, at the age of 87, Eleanor Hand Carey of Chantilly, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hand and Nora Hand (Kennedy). She is survived by: her siblings, Peter, Thomas, James and Mary; her husband Gerard "Jerry" Carey; her children, Christine White (late Donald), Cynthia Bruzzese (John), Michael Carey (Tabatha), Timothy Carey, Kevin Carey (Kathy) and Colleen Internicola (Christopher); her sister Margaret "Peggy" Hand Carew of Westfield, NJ; and her grandchildren, Spencer White, Caroline, Joseph Carey, Kyle Gerard Carey, Kyle Charles, Joshua Carey, Jack, Nick Bruzzese, Ava, Ryan and Alyse Internicola. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
